After a week of bike riding on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, and now 3 days in the sun at Long Beach Island, I am properly into vacation mode. So of course it's almost time to return to the real world - Palo Alto, No Cal fires, work and all that it brings with it.
I keep insisting that the only good vacations are longer than 2 weeks, so that you get a chance to completely leave work behind, but this one has been pretty good so far and promises to still have some good times before we are done.
Well, nothing much to look at here folks, and it's about time to head to the beach, so best to wrap it here and move on. Maybe more later (now that a laptop has arrived and we don't have to meter our minutes at the i-cafe)
